Role Overview

Reporting to the Revenue & Distribution Product Manager at B&B HOTELS Group, the Product Owner will oversee the development of the products from design to delivery in order to ensure they meet the clients’ needs and preferences. Their main duties include detailing features into user stories, prioritizing the backlog, and follow-up the deliveries.

The scope includes the Revenue Management System (RMS) Accurate at 70% and the Central Reservations System (CRS) Vertical Booking at 30%. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze users’ needs to define the key product features.

  • Define performance indicators to better initiate and prioritize the product backlog.

  • Collaborate with other PM/PO to identify impacts and dependencies.

  • Collaborate with our solution provider to plan and estimate product iterations and deliveries. 

  • Provide clear instructions on product functional requirements and priorities to the development team.

  • Actively participate in planning, review, and retrospective meetings with the team.

  • Perform regular product testing and validation to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. 

  • Ensure clear and regular communication with internal and external stakeholders, sharing product updates, collecting feedback and answering questions. 

  • Participate in the continuous improvement of Agile development processes and product management methodology.

  • Document product improvement themes in Confluence, EPICs in Jira, and stories/tasks in Jira with comprehensive descriptions and acceptance criteria.

  • Prepare the user guide and train key users.

  • Manage support (incidents, bugs), qualification, and resolution for key users.

Description du profil

Skills & experience 

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a PO is required 

  • Knowledge and experience in Revenue Management & Distribution is required, in Hospitality would be a plus

  • Knowledge of products management and digital governance 

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills. 

  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into product features. 

  • Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. 

  • Excellent organizational, time management and task prioritization skills. 

  • English: mandatory
